My ACL tear in sophomore year impacted me so heavily; it made me a better person and player. Going through this challenged me to dig deeper when I didn't think I had anything left inside myself. I learned that I am capable of more than I thought, and it gave me a different perspective and respect for playing. Going through this helped me realize a few things: that I am very powerful, staying healthy is so crucial, and that I love my sport.
I am looking forward to finding a great school to help me achieve my goals in academics and athletics, which is to study hard while playing hard. Studying hard is what leads to success. In school, as well as the rest of life, hard work produces stunning results. I have always been a dedicated team player that places a priority on working hard to continue to get better. I have had some great opportunities to learn from great people around me what it means to be a good player, teammate, and overall athlete.
