Thank you for viewing my profile! Since the age of five playing sports, including soccer, has been a key role in my life. But in the ten years of playing soccer in different clubs and my high school team, they never became a passion the way lacrosse did. I began playing the summer before my HS freshman year because I was intrigued with the challenge of a new sport. Throughout my first year playing lacrosse my HS team tied for first in our league which showed how important teamwork was and how it played a key role in our wins. It was a great achievement. I feel my sophomore year I learned more about myself as a player and a student. I was able to stay committed and focused to being the best lacrosse player while staying on top of academics.
Playing lacrosse has showed me a title or trophy doesn't last a lifetime. It has taught me the importance of positivity, teamwork, and to strive to be a better player even through the toughest times. I believe a program that allows me to compete to the best of my ability while also fitting me academically will be the right place for me. I know for a fact I will play a huge role for that team.
