Hello, my name is Gabrielle Mullenax
I am a student first, my grades are very important to me (I carry a 4.60 GPA). I plan on going into the medical field and help make a difference in any way I may be called.
Without my teammates I would not have the opportunities or recognition I have been honored with. I do work very hard at Varsity and Club lacrosse (Goalie). I am always striving to improve my game and help my teams. I was honored in 2017, 2018, and 2019 as the Varsity Team MVP (as a Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior). I am very excited for the next two years.
I earned Second Team All League Award for 2018 season in the EBAL (East Bay Athletic Legaue). I was also honored with the Glen Sunnegren Award, 2018 (a local honor given to a Granada High School Lacrosse Player for outstanding achievements). My play as a varsity goalie is so much fun and challenging! My saves are 49% for the 2018 season, up 3% from 2017 season which was 46%.
I play goalie for my club team, The Bay Area Wave 2020 Team in Danville , Ca.. We travel to many tournaments in many different states, It is so much fun and great meeting players from all over the US.
Here are some tournaments we play annually (Rose City Tournament in Portland, Or. The Grind in Philadelphia, Pa. The Presidents Cup in Orlando, Fl., and the Sandstorm Tournament in Indio, CA.)
In between high school and club lacrosse, I have been doing water polo to stay active and in shape for the next lacrosse season.
I also play the clarinet in my schools Marching Band, I have been playing the clarinet for over six years and enjoy it very much.
I would like to major in Human Physiology. I have always been interested in the medical field and how the human body works.
