I am Kiara Kofoed. I am a California Native and have played lacrosse competitively for 11 years. I just completed my first season of varsity lacrosse at Nottingham Trent University (NTU) in England.
I walked on to the NTU varsity lacrosse team, and within a month, became one of our starting center midfielders. My team went undefeated in our league, won the BUCS Final Championship, advanced to the England Premier League, and was ranked 9th in England out of 5,000 teams (2021/2022).
I was offered an athletic scholarship by the NTU Coaching and Athletic Department for the upcoming 2022/2023 season.
I finished my junior year of high school, completed senior year online in 6 weeks during quarantine, and began my first year of college at Nottingham Trent University (NTU) at 17 years old all within the year 2021.
I graduated high school with a 3.93 GPA and was a starting center midfielder and attacker from freshman year onward on the varsity lacrosse team at Miramonte High School in Orinda, California. I played year-round lacrosse on multiple club teams including Laxuhr, Tenacity, and California Attack (originally Wave).
However, since moving to England, I’ve been missing home and want to explore my options to transfer to a university in California and play competitive lacrosse.
