Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I know there are lots of awesome recruits out there! A little bit about me…unlike most of the girls, I haven’t been playing half my life. I picked up my 1st lacrosse stick in 6th grade for PE. Covid hit in 7th grade, and then my middle school cut lacrosse in 8th grade. Summer before freshman year I joined my 1st Club with Beachhead. I haven’t looked back! I love the teamwork necessary for lacrosse. I find that lacrosse is just as much a mental game as a physical one. I am eager to learn and get better since I don’t have much experience yet. But, I am a fast learner. I'm learning to use my height to my advantage. My current high school coach has us on the field and in the weight room 2-3 days a week, plus weekend practices. I expect to get stronger from this. I’m proud to say I started as Defense, but he had me play both Mid and Attack with Varsity this year (Sophmore) and I’m taking a few face-offs too! So basically, I can play any position but Goalie. I love the opportunity to fill-in where the Coach needs me. I hope this helps set me apart from other players. Keep checking back - next year (Junior) will be exciting! (:
