Personal Statement

When I first picked up a stick in seventh grade, I was hooked on lacrosse!  Everything about the game appeals to me: the feeling of the ball in the pocket, running as fast as I can past the other team, cutting and dodging; the physicality of it all. Team work and team camaraderie as well as my individual performance and accomplishment by contributing to my team all add to my love of this game. As I advance my skills with each practice and game, I also get to develop and practice leadership whether it's setting an example, vocalizing expectations to teammates, or holding them accountable. My passion for the sport along with my ambitious desires to succeed drive my competitive spirit and allow me to push myself past my limits wehther I'm at practice or a game. As college is getting closer, I realize I need to play at the university level since I can't imagine my life without lacrosse.

My current team and my coaches are the best! We've created a family with the friendships and bonds we've made. We support each other in and outside of our sport which I feel helps us work even better together. As I look forward to my university years, I wish to belong to a lacrosse team at a school that I can build friendships and bonds with my coach and team.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
