Ryann Durrett '23 Recruiting Profile

I started playing lacrosse when I was 7 years old.  The love and passion of the game just grew. I have played Varsity for the Thompson Valley Eagles, a starter attack since Freshman year.  I work hard on the field and off the field. I had doubts playing at the collegiate level while pursing my degree, probably the college nerves which made me late in the recruiting process.  Now as a senior, I know the passion of lacrosse is in my heart. The drive of my teammates and the dedication we all put in to make it to state really made me recognize I can do both,  play and study hard. The time we spent together on and off the field taught me patience,  trust and the drive to compete at my highest ability.  I will always give my all.  I will support my team at all times. I will listen, be patient, take criticism as it comes my way and learn  more about the game I love, lacrosse  and to be the best human I can.
