Kaiya Deurloo '22 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing lacrosse since 4th grade, when I fell in love with the sport. Over the years as a player, my drive and ambition to get better each day has made me a strong player and all around a better person. Lacrosse has helped shape me into a leader as well as a team player. I was privileged to help lead the team as a varsity player my freshman year and continue to encourage my teammates growth and development on and off the field.  My academic ambitions is to major in business and to pursue a career in sales or possibly law. What makes me a strong candidate for your school is that despite the current unprecedented circumstances and not having our High School Spring season, I continue to train, maintain my skills and fitness as I would off season. Fitness and overall conditioning is important to me as I am also a varsity member of my schools cross country team.
