Tamar Epps '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tamar Epps and I am an All-State Goalie from Newark, Delaware in the class of 2015 that would be very very interested in having the opportunity to play as a transfer. I currently attend the University of Delaware as a Freshman but I do not play for the team. I play with the post collegiate club lacrosse team while getting private goalie training. I am the type of lacrosse player that is always looking for areas to improve and eager to take direction from my coach. I've recorded over 300 career saves along with 18 ground balls. I am a three time Academic All-Conference honoree and six time winner of the Scholar Athlete Award. I also had the honor of being selected to play in the Delaware Lacrosse Senior All-Star Game this past June and made critical key saves that helped my team to victory. I've also helped my high school club team, Delaware TRIBE go runner up champions in the Lax Clash tournament in Bel Air, MD and understand undefeated at the All Star Express Tournament in New Castle, DE. I am a very driven, moviated, and always optimistic on and off the field. I am never afraid to step up and become a leader. I'm also a big believer in becoming a student of the game. My constant hard work ethic is what sets me apart from other recruits. Whether it's academically or in the sport of lacrosse. I'm always doing my best and working harder to get better and perfect my skill. I have a great love for the game and it is my motivation to become a better player and a better person. This sport has allowed me to be communicate better with my team and people outside of my team. I'm able to motivate them even when they think it's almost impossible to win. I'm the person that says any team can beat any team just like my coach always says. I'm also not afraid to step out of goal when the time presents itself and I'm an all around hard worker.
