Hi, my name is Emilie Vitalo, I am 5"0 and 118lb and currently attend Delaware Military Academy. During my freshman year, I was only interested in playing Field Hockey until my friend convinced me to try lacrosse, and it was the best decision I have ever made. Lacrosse has changed my perspective on school, work and even on life. Before lacrosse, I was struggling in school, I wasn't highly motivated and I didn't have the goals that I strive for today. Playing sports made me realize that when you are dedicated to something, you strive to succeed in other aspects of life. When I am playing, I accept my failures and want to be told on how to correct myself, I always want to help my teammates whether it is in a game, a practice, or even in school. I am able to maintain a job, a 3.7 GPA, and still, play the sport that I love. After high school, I want to major in Nursing and continue to play lacrosse in college.
