Playing lacrosse has definitely been a life changer, as a freshman I started playing because my friends asked me to and it’s was such an amazing feeling, I wasn’t the best when I started but I loved learning from my coaches and teammates. I go to Pasco High School, I’m in the Cambridge Program with a 3.0 gpa, play varsity volleyball, varsity lacrosse and I’m involved in clubs such as SNHS. After high school, I want to go to college to study medicine. I’ve played volleyball for 7 years but when I started lacrosse it was amazing to experience something new and exciting. My freshman year I played defense and many of the older girls showed me what to do and how to learn from them. I now play as a midfielder and take the draw, I try and influence as many as my friends to play and enjoy the fun of lacrosse. I’ve learned from my coaches, trainers, teammates and other players. For our lacrosse team we had a team bonding activity to watch a Saint Leo lacrosse game where they played UT, it was so thrilling and impressing, watching these girls play so well as a team together and enjoy there sport. Overall, playing lacrosse has definitely effected my life for the better and I would love to continue playing.
