Living in a small town in Georgia, I had never even heard of lacrosse until I was in 7th grade and a coach moved into the area and brought the sport with her. I absolutely fell in love with the game and when I volunteered to try goalie, I knew I found my sport. My town struggled to gain the support and didn't have lacrosse at my school until the 10th grade. I led the charge in getting girls to try out and building my program to be something great as a captain of my team. During the off season, I traveled outside my area in order to find a team to practice with. In the classroom I have challenged myself and will have 10 APs when I graduate as well as Dual Enrollment college courses. Looking ahead, I could not imagine my life without lacrosse in it, which is why I aspire to play at the collegiate level. Academics are a priority, and finding a school with a strong Latin American Studies program is extremely important to me. Wherever I land, I am committed to being an athlete and student who shows a strong work ethic, integrity, and heart.
