I'm a former optional gymnast and diver turned lacrosse player. I started playing lacrosse 2 years ago and fell in love with the sport the minute that I learned how to hold a stick!. Although I am new to the sport, I have progressed quickly. I am dedicated, fast, agile, competitive and aggressive! I have great hand-eye coordination with breakaway speed. I am coachable and athletic! After doing an individual sport for so long, it is fun to be playing as part of a team. I love working together with my teammates to make a good play! I have learned so much in such a short time, but I’m willing and eager to learn more. I love watching college games in my spare time and love the college lacrosse rules with the fast pace of play.
After making the Varsity & the Legacy Lacrosse Georgia travel team my first year, I started at Attack. I was moved to MIDI this year and succeeded in that position. It’s perfect for me because I can use my speed and aggressiveness more effectively. I had 45 Goals, 46 Draw Controls & 26 Ground Balls this past season. We also had a “record breaking” winning high school season (9-7) this year after getting all new coaches. I worked very hard this year to reduce errors and fouls and be a more consistent and reliable teammate on the field. As a result, I earned 1st Team ALL-AREA for the Georgia High School Association & “Offensive Player of the Year” for my Varsity High School Team.
Our Legacy Lacrosse Georgia travel team will be playing in the IWLCA Southeast Cup in Raleigh, the Summer Lax Splash in Emerson, and the Music City Lax Festival in Nashville. I hope that you get a chance to watch me play at the upcoming tournaments.
