Driven, leader, finesse player with strong Lax IQ and heavy focus on academics. Lacrosse has been a very important part of my life since I was very young, as the game runs in my family. I have been playing for 8 years and it has become my passion. I love learning new techniques and strategies from coaches that are willing to share them with me. I am a strong leader as well and was elected team captain on my previous club team for 2 years. I have a high lacrosse IQ and am dedicated to both the sport and my team. In my everyday life, I balance being an honors student, having a job, and being a multi-sport athlete. I played Varsity my freshman year, and helped the team to a 4th place finish at State. I finished 4th in the state amongst freshman in goals scored, 8th in assists and tied for 4th in total points. In addition I was recognized as my team's Rookie of the Year and was named All-Section. I am also very involved in multiple clubs at school including Spanish National Honors Society, and was elected to be a part of the Student Athlete Leadership Team. This organization helps students learn how to become strong leaders both on and off the field. I am also involved in Saints Helping Hawks, which is a program where high school students help tutor middle school students. I have taken 6 honors classes and 4 AP classes and maintained a 4.63 unweighted GPA. In addition, I won the Human Relations Award from the Board of Education, which recognizes students with strong academics and leadership skills.
