I started playing lacrosse when I was in 1st grade with the local rec league. I loved the sport so much that I started playing club 5 yrs ago. I played midfield and defense but found that defense is my passion. I throw and catch comfortably with both hands and even though I prefer to play defense, I have a hard and accurate shot on goal. I also play high school and club volleyball where I stay on for the full rotation and shift to outside or opposite for the kills. I played libero for the last half of my HS Senior season. I have also volunteered to help coach younger volleyball and lacrosse players at our local rec league. I am a straight A student for every marking period in my High School career. I took all honors classes in my Freshman year and finished 5th in my class of 355 students. I again took all honors classes for my Sophomore year and finished with a 4.33 GPA. I took 3 AP classes and 2 honors classes my Junior year and finished with 4.46 GPA. I am in 2 AP classes and 1 Honors class in my Senior year and continue to maintain a 4.46 GPA. I belong to the National Honor Society and am Chair of the Environmental Conservation Committee. I was also nominated and honored as Student of the Month in November of 2019 by my Environmental Science teacher. I am active in my church as well as it's youth group. I was chosen twice by the Chesapeake Bay Foundation to volunteer my time for a Fall and Spring trip that were amazing and so much fun. I have wanted to be a marine biologist since I was young and am looking to major in Marine Sciences and Environmental Conservation. I am a coachable, hardworking, dedicated and tenacious individual both on the field and in the classroom.
