My collegiate goals are to play college lacrosse while studying to become a teacher. I aspire to have a well rounded college experience including sports, academics, as well as enjoying my time at school. I am a good candidate for any team because I am always willing to work hard to improve my skills. I am very coachable and always welcome criticism to help better myself both on and off the field. I am a good teammate by encouraging and helping out my teammates both while playing and in everyday life. I am extremely determined to become the best version of myself and am self motivated to do the work that it takes to get there. In games I always put the team's success before my own, and I have an in depth Lacrosse IQ which helps me make the best decision for my team. Something that differentiates me from other recruits is that I tore my ACL on July 31, 2021 in the last tournament of my club summer season and got surgery on September 22, 2021. Having to work my way back from my ACL tear both physically and mentally required me to be motivated and determined everyday to get back on the field. I returned to the field on May 14, 2022 half way through my Freshman High School season. Emotionally being away from the field for almost 10 months was extremely challenging, and because of that I have a whole new appreciation and view of the game. Academically I have extremely high expectations for myself and hold myself accountable to work the hardest I can in every class. I take my grades very seriously and am always willing to do the extra work needed to succeed. Just like in my sports, in school I always challenge myself, by taking the hardest classes and never backing away from a challenging assignment or problem.
