I am physically strong. That has been a particular asset in my athletic career. I currently play basketball and lacrosse. The footwork, vision, spacing, and defense that I use in basketball transfers well to lacrosse. I would consider myself a leader on my athletic teams. Mainly, I focus on being positive and inclusive with my teammates. Further, I try to challenge myself and my teammates to compete at a higher level. My high school lacrosse coach saw that passion and made me a co-captain of the varsity team this year (as a sophomore).
Further, I am involved in extra-curricular activities outside of sports. Currently, I am taking part in a mission trip to help families in need from the inner city.
Regarding college, I am just starting to evaluate where I want to go and what area of study on want to focus on. There are a limited number of schools in the Midwest that offer lacrosse, which makes it a little more complicated. Currently, I feel like I want to stay in the Midwest, but am open evaluating options as they arise from schools located outside of that area.
