Thank you for taking the time to read my statement. This year I decided I wanted to accomplish the goal of playing lacrosse in college. Whether its division 1, 2, or 3. I am a dedicated player who rarely misses practices, and I am willing to work hard in order to improve. I consider myself a team player, who is open to new ideas in order to make the team work well together. I am open to learn in order to improve. I have been dedicated to practicing by myself in my backyard, and with the assistance of my older brother in order to work on specific skills. This past year, I played on a young team that didn't win any games, but I stuck with it and kept a positive attitude during games and practices, even if that meant being on a team that didn't get very much attention. I was voted by my teammates as one of the captains even though I am just entering my first year of high school. I plan on staying with the team for the remainder of my high school years, regardless of the outcome. I am a hockey player, but decided to give it up next season in order to focus most of my time on lacrosse. Academically, I've been on honor roll for two years in a row. I am fluent in both Spanish and English, and will graduate with a duel diploma by the time I finish high school.
