Hi! My name is Kaya Miller and I am a Midfielder/ Defender. While only playing almost 2 years of lacrosse, it was love at first sight with the sport. I had previously played a little over 9 years of soccer. My field IQ is what makes me fast and quick to ground balls and sudden turnovers. When I first started playing lacrosse, I would be the player to make quick transitions for my team while we all worked together to score some sweet goals! A little after my first high school season had ended, I had gone to a lacrosse clinic where I was then asked to join a travel team by one of the coaches that was there. I went to three tournaments which was when I made my mark as a defensive player. No matter what position I am put in, I will always give 100% for myself and the team. Being a flexible player has helped me learn more and more about the sport each time I go out onto the field. Even before lacrosse, I had always hoped to play in college to continue being a student athlete. Of course school will always be a top priority to me, I've always chosen to take honours classes to challenge my learning and to increase my knowledge on the subjects given to me. I'd hope to obtain my degree in Forensic Psychology after completing the necessary courses. Overall, I'm a dedicated player hoping to make her mark!
