Personal Statement

Currently, my plan is to major in Biomedical Engineering and play lacrosse at a competitive level.  Since this is my goal for college, I believe it's important to succeed today in my academics, athletics and give back to the community endeavors to best be prepared for my college experience.

I am proud of the fact that I was recently accepted into the Seacoast School of Technology (SST) Biomedical Technology Program.  This will allow me to earn college credits towards a degree in this field while continuing to achieve high honors with all of my other AP and Honors high school level classes.

From an athletic perspective,  following are the athletic honors that I am proud to share:

  • 2018 Division 1 Lacrosse All State - First Team - Midfielder (Sophomore Year)
  • 2018 Team 1 - Women's Divisional National Tournament (New Hampshire/Vermont Team)
  • 2017 Team 1 - Women's Divisional National Tournament (New Hampshire/Vermont Team)
  • 2017 Warrior National Lacrosse All-American (Warrior National Prospect Invite)
  • 2017 Division 1 Lacrosse All State - First Team - Defense (Freshman Year)
  • 2017 Warrior National Prospect Invite 2020 All-Star Team (Mid-Fielder)
  • High School Winter Track - Girls Varsity Team D1 NH State Runner Up 2017/2018
  • High School Winter Track - Girls Varsity D1 4 x 200 Relay NH State Runner Up 2017/2018

It's important to my family that we all give back to our community and therefore, I recently certified this spring as a girls’ youth lacrosse referee to mentor and provide leadership to the local youth girls.  In addition, I was re-elected as a 2020 Class Official for the Exeter High School Student Senate.

In conclusion, I will share a brief statement from my freshman English teacher that I believe describes me well:

"I can only offer the highest recommendation for Raye Neil. It has been my pleasure to work with Raye, a student in my Honors Freshman English class, this 2016-2017 school year. I have had the opportunity to observe her work effectively as an individual and with her peers. Raye has proven to be a responsible, sophisticated student willing to stand up to challenges both inside and outside the classroom."

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
