There is no I in TEAM. This is how I play. I would love to say that I am the world's best lacrosse player. But the truth is there are so many great lacrosse players and the competition is fierce. I love to compete. But mostly, I love being a part of my team. I pride myself on being extremely coachable. I know that with the best coaching I can get even better, even stronger, even more focused and ultimately become the leader I want to be both on and off the field. This is why I love lacrosse.
What do I bring to this sport? Put me on the field with the best, and I am going to make sure I support the team at the midfield transition or the interception or ground ball turnover. I work hard, I have passion and I am driven to succeed in all parts of my life. And when I score a goal or have an assist, I know that nothing can stop me from winning.
I have been through a variety of club levels over the years. It has not been easy. I have been cut and had to prove my value to get back onto a team I really had loved and missed. Why I continue to persevere is because of my vision to compete at the collegiate level. I want to see this through.
I hope the coaches that read this will see my potential in growing into a top player. And I promise that I will lead with passion for my team and the college community I am ultimately a part of.
