In second grade, I started playing lacrosse. Since then, the sport has become a part of me. In the off season, even when it rains or snows, I love going in my backyard just to simply pass on my bounce-back. During the season, I look forward to practices and playing in games. I also love to watch college and professional players; it does not just provide entertainment, but gives me an opportunity to watch highly skilled players and learn from their successful plays. I look forward to being able to pursue my passion of lacrosse at the college level.
I am very hardworking when it comes to the field and in the class room. I challenge myself in lots of honors and AP classes. I am not only a great class mate, but a phenomenal team mate. I can set up my team mates for perfect scoring opportunities, whether it's from setting picks or looking for open cuts. In addition, I can score goals just as well as I can assist them. I know how to fake a defender out with my dominant and non-dominant and dodge around them. I drive to the net with speed and use my right and left to score goals; I can fake out the goalie just as well as I can fake out defenders. With my speed, I can also re-defend and cause turnovers.
