I started playing lacrosse goalie when I was in third grade after my town soccer coach invited me to give it a try. I was the only kid drawn to the responsibility of the position. I had been playing soccer in the Fall, basketball in the Winter and then lacrosse in the Spring. I love playing all sports in general but by sixth grade I was playing lacrosse all year. Lacrosse was by far my favorite and I decided I was going to play on an elite level in college! Since then I have been fortunate to learn and train with some of the best goalie coaches in the country. I have played on my town team, my middle school team, my hight school team and on three, very different, Club teams. I consistently hear from coaches that I am humble, coachable and need to move my feet more. I have had a plan since sixth grade and I’m sticking to it. With all my physical and mental training, this is the year I am ready to consistently “burst to the ball!” I know I have the mental strength to overcome adversity and handle any challenge that comes my way.
I was the starting goalie on my middle school team. It was my goal for the team to win the Morris County Championships while I was there. We won in 2019, my eighth grade year. I was then selected as a freshman to play on the Varsity team’s Winter league. While there wasn't a 2020 Spring season, I was selected as a starting goalie on the Morristown High School Varsity lacrosse team, which is intensely competitive across the region. I have a 4.4 GPA and am consistently on the Honor Roll. Next year (11th grade), I am taking two AP classes and three honors class. I will take a business management course, which I'd like to continue to study in college. Senior year I plan to take 2-3 AP classes and 3-4 honors classes. I like to challenge myself on the field and in class. I am proud that coaches and teachers have consistently called out my attitude, effort, and leadership. I like to balance my academics and athletics with giving back to my community. I am currently a volunteer coach's assistant for our 3/4 grade Lady Colonials town team. I have been a Girl Scout since kindergarten and am a active member of the Key Club at Morristown High School. I also enjoy lots of cooking, baking, woodworking and travel. I am always up for learning from a new experience!

I did it, I consistently moved my feet this season! I heard from coaches and fans, "way to go- you found your confidence, great save Olivia, you kept us in the game, you were so exciting to watch, your not human- your a goalie!" I had 123 saves this season, stopped 46 percent of shots- keeping a 5 goal differential, was mentioned at a top 75 player in NJ, ranked team 3 in group 4 of NJ, named MHS Defensive MVP and I'm just getting started...
I spent the Summer playing at prospect days and showcases, training and planning. I saw several very different campuses, played in front of and spoke with over ten DI, DII, DIII coaches and met a lot of great lacrosse players. I look forward to moving forward in the process. I plan on strengthening my ability to keep my eye on the ball at all times next.

Here is what I'm currently hearing from college coaches: "its been fun to watch you grow as a player, solid between the pipes, consistent clears, great team communication, athletic, quick hands, make your stops with confidence and poise, impressed with your hustle an ability to work with your team!" I have really grown this season and I'm not going to stop. I am confident I will find my epic school by sticking with the process...
