Thaissa Rodrigues '21 Recruiting Profile

To start off, my name is Thaissa Rodrigues and I am 15 years old living in Newark NJ. In my life I have had downfalls and amazing days. The downfalls never stopped me from doing what I love which is playing sports. Through my middle school and high school years I have played softball, soccer, lacrosse and I did cheerleading. I am a big role model for many people in my school because I am the internship coordinator's assistant at my school. I help students to complete their resume and cover letters to be accepted/cleared for an internship. I am a great multitasker, good listener, and a fast learner. Now some background, I got into the Miss Brazil America Teen 2018 fashion show and got 3rd place. I was the first "plus size" to be in it and I was proud of myself for having the courage. Everyone gave me amazing feedback on how I can do whatever I put my mind to. I believe in myself and I believe that I will have a successful future in my academics and sports like I am doing now. I am very kind, independent, brave, confident and smart.
