Erin Smeilus '22 Recruiting Profile

My goals for college include excelling in various areas and courses and devoting my time to succeeding as well as being the best player I can on and off the field. I feel like I could be a valued asset on the team because my end result isn’t to have the most goals or ground balls. It is to ensure that my fellow teammates and I are working together to score as a team and not as an individual. My character revolves around putting others before myself and tolerating what is necessary and putting up with something that is not right whether it has to do with myself or a teammate. Lastly, academics play a huge role in my life because a well rounded education will bring me far in life and help me succeed past high school and college as well as teach me lessons that can be applied on and off the playing field.
