“Go Amtrak!” That’s what you hear when you’re standing on the sidelines during one of my York Invaders 2025 club team games. I’ve earned my nickname through my team’s tradition of our coaches choosing a name that embodies the qualities and character of the specific player. Determination, focus, and drive--- whether on defense OR offense- mark my play on all points of the field. Just like the speeding locomotive, I build momentum and I’m difficult to stop once I’ve gotten started! Throughout game time or even at practice, my coaches have recognized my energetic engagement and have banked on it to contribute to winning team play time and time again. A lacrosse player since second grade, through the years and seasons I have learned much and I am anxious to continue building on this knowledge to become an even better player and team member through the opportunities that I’ve been given and also hope to have in the future. I’ve been told that my lacrosse IQ is high, but I remain malleable, both open and humble for guidance from my coaches and fellow players. Growth and challenge do not intimidate me. I love lacrosse, I love being part of a team, and I look forward to playing college level lacrosse in the future.
