My name is Sydney Leen from Downingtown, Pennsylvania. I play club lacrosse for PA Express 2020 Orange and I play lacrosse for the Downingtown East High school team. I have been playing lacrosse for the past seven years and have a true passion for the sport. I have a strong athletic ability and I am focused on winning and motivated to continually improve my skills. I am a very passionate, aggressive and intense player on the field.
Just to tell you a little bit about myself. I am an Attack player on my club and high school team. For high school lacrosse I play for Downingtown East. I have been playing club lacrosse for pa express 2020 orange for 5 years and throughout those five years I have become a more intense, aggressive and more skilled of a player. I work extremely hard to be the best player I can be not only for myself but for my teammates. I contribute a lot to my teams mainly because I am a team player but individually I have a very strong shot and a nose for the goal, but I am also a very versatile player in that I am an intense re-defender and I am very aggressive on ground balls. Above being a team player and an intense individual player I have a strong desire to win games.
As a student, I attend the Downingtown STEM Academy which is ranked the number 2 best high school in the state of Pennsylvania. My high school. Is extremely challenging academically, and I am focused on achieving good grades in all my classes. In order for me to be able to participate in extracurricular activities while still maintaining my GPA of a 3.8, I had to develop strong time management skills. I am only in 10th grade so I have not taken the SATs yet. Along with my school work I am involved in many extracurricular activities and clubs such as Student council, key club which is a club for volunteer work.
