Mia Haugen '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mia Haugen and I play defense. I’ve been playing for a little over a year and absolutely love lacrosse. The beginning was tough but I’m so grateful I stuck with it even when it was difficult. I’ve built so many incredible relationships through my teams. My team has become a second family through the trust needed on and off the field. After my 8th grade season I knew I wanted to play on varsity for high school, but as a new player I would have to put in double the amount of work. I’m very goal-driven and dedicated which helped me earn my spot on varsity as a freshman. I’m willing to put in the work when it comes to sports, school, and the things I care about like my community and animals! I’m always looking for new opportunities to learn and grow in the sport and I’m looking forward to my journey through the next couple of years.
