When I first began the sport in fourth grade, I oftentimes found that I had a late start in comparison to both teammates and other players my age. Having the opportunity to surround myself with others of greater ability has contributed greatly to the way in which I have developed as a player even from such a young age. As an individual, I strive to put forth my best effort both on and off the field no matter what that may entail. Either it be hours of playing wall ball or entire scrimmages using my non-dominant hand, I have found the true meaning of pushing yourself to become the best player possible. This is such a huge aspect of the way in which I go about this game because I believe complacency is the ultimate downfall of many athletes, which is why any critiques received are taken within the highest regard. It is my absolute goal to play collegiate lacrosse while also continuing on a pre-law course. Over the course of six years, I have truly dedicated myself to this sport and it would be an ultimate dream come true to play lacrosse at the next level. By no means do I find that this will be an easy feat, but what makes me such a valuable player, according to my coaches, is that I am incredibly coachable and play with my entire heart and soul. As far as academics, I maintain straight a’s while challenging myself with the most demanding courses available. I take academics extremely seriously and will always go the extra mile to achieve the grade that I feel I deserve which is something that aligns with that of my approach to lacrosse.
