Hey coaches! My name is Evelyn Kitchin. I'm a rising sophomore at Bishop England High School in Charleston, S.C. I am a multi-sport athlete with a deep love for lacrosse. I'm still working out my college goals, but right now I'm thinking I might want to do something in sports medicine. I aspire to be a contributing, game-changing player for your program. I am a leader on the field and in the classroom. Also, I get along with anyone and easily adapt to challenging situations. I believe this probably comes from being a military brat. I carry the same dedication for grades onto the lacrosse field and the basketball court. If I'm not surfing, wakeboarding, or hanging with my family, you can find me grinding on the lax fields or in the weight room.
Last year when talking to my basketball coach about lacrosse and my dreams of playing in college, I mentioned how athletes in Charleston don't normally go to any big schools for sports, he told me to "be the change." My response, "yes sir, I'll be that change"-- that is what drives me everyday.
