My name is Kylie McWhorter, and I am a rising senior at Socastee High School in Myrtle Beach, SC. My passion for lacrosse began when my friends convinced me to try out for the JV team. Instantly, I fell in love with the sport, specifically that of the goalie position. Since then I play for a travel and High School team.
My coaches say I am hardworking, coachable, and persistent. As a goalie, I see myself as hyper-focused, agile, and aggressive. I am a hard worker who constantly is seeking to improve various aspects of my game in an effort to help the team. This is also true of me in the classroom. I am an honors student and always strive to excel. I enjoy being involved in many extracurricular school activities and working as an assistant art teacher to kids in my community.
