For many years, it was soccer that drew me onto the field, but in sixth grade I had the opportunity to play lacrosse for the first time and it eventually won my affection. I love being on a team: the commraderie, the satisfaction of training hard to achieve common goals, the thrill of competition. Both on and off the field, I seek to give my best in all that I do. I am a hard-working student, a loyal, committed teammate, an encouraging friend. I am grounded in my faith, and I love my family. At my school, I have competed at the varsity level in soccer, swimming, cross country and lacrosse. I was named to the All-Region lacrosse team in both 9th and 10th grades. I am a member of National Beta Club, an elected member of my Class Leadership Council, and I serve as a Student Amabassador working with prospective students and families. If I have the opportunity to continue playing lacrosse in college, I hope to give my best to the program and contribute to the good of the community.
