Personal Statement
My name is Hope Rasberry, a goalie at Prosper High School .
I have been playing lacrosse for the past two years now and I absolutely love the power, strength and drive of the sport. Lacrosse empowers me to continue to strive to be the best I can be. I believe I am a perfect addition to a team because of my ability to lead and encourage others, my judge of character and willingness to push myself past my own limits.
My dream is to become an elementary teacher and work in title one or inner city schools. I have always wanted to be a teacher. Presently, I work with a large class of first graders at Rucker Elementary in Prosper Texas. I know that lacrosse has given me the ability to be apart of something bigger than myself, which is one of the many attributes of a teacher.
