Mary Bohli '20 Recruiting Profile

I am the oldest of six children, and soccer has always been the sport of choice in my family. In middle school I was introduced to lacrosse by my friends and I found it to be a much more enjoyable sport because of the ability to posess the ball and set up plays. I made my way onto some great teams and enjoyed the comraderie and friendships with my teammates.

Once I got to high school, my coach recognized the effort that I put into every practice and invited me to be a starter defensive player on the varsity team. Over that first season and during winter indoor, my coach has developed me into a midfielder because of my intensity to win draws. While I love the competition on the field, the relationships that I have formed with my teammates and my coaches are some of the highlites of my first two years at school.

On the field I am known for my intensity, athleticisim and coachabililty; so much so that the head varsity field hockey coach asked me to play for her with no prior experience.

I look forward to making significant contributions to a college lacrosse program both on and off the field!
