My name is Addison DeRamus. I’ve been playing lacrosse for 10 years. Initially, I was a defender, but over the years my coaches noticed I was more valuable to the team as an attacker. Now I play attack and midfield. I’m a flexible player and willing to play wherever the coach needs me.
Personality-wise, off the field, I am shy and tend to be somewhat introverted, but on the field, it is the complete opposite. I am able to be confident and aggressive when playing lacrosse. I enjoy thinking things through and finding solutions and, I’m good at understanding complex tactics. I love to practice and seek to conduct practice repetitions until I’ve mastered the skill. I am right-hand dominant but am proficient with my left hand as well.
I can be comfortable going with the flow and deferring to others as long as I am able to maintain my personal values. I will stand my ground when my values are compromised, or others are being illogical. I am honest, straightforward, good at sticking to a routine, able to admit my faults, and love to be challenged and learn new things.
I’m currently in the 11th grade and taking Advanced and Honors courses. I am planning to get my MBA and one day start my own business.
