Personal Statement

I have always loved the sport of lacrosse, and have not only played it since Kindergarten, I have also been a assistant coach since 7th grade working with kids K-6. From this angle, you can get a different view of the sport, and has help me to even edit my game, and create relationships with many young athletes. Also, many of my coaches I am a leader on the field and off, almost always leading streaches, calling plays on attack, and when on the sidelines cheering for my team.

Although I have not completely decided what I want to do with my life, I am planning to go into education or psychology, as I love working with children.

AwardsI earned 2 awards Freshman year. First, the Heart and Hustle Award on Varsity Swimming. This is one of 2 awards given to a member of the varsity swim team for there work given and there sportsmanship. I also earned the Outstanding Acheivement award, one of 3 awards given to Varsity Lacrosse for my work on attack.
ActivitiesI do lots of reading, drawing, sewing, painting, knitting, and crafting both at home and at school. I am in charge of a service initiative project at school, which creates handmade goods to people in need in the surrounding community. I also am a stage captain at school plays, making sure the play is running smoothly. I am also part of a leadership group at my church helping to bring in youth.
