Thank you for looking at my profile!
Being raised by a single parent can have its challenges. When my mother unexpectedly passed away when I was 12 I didn't know what my future would hold. However, my father instilled in my brother and I the ethos he learned in the Marine Corps that no matter what life throws at you, the mission must continue. As a family of three now, we had to make sacrifices for each other so that we all could achieve our goals in athletics as well in all aspects of our lives. Because of this I have learned that hard work on and off the field eventually pays great dividends. I have worked incredibly hard on my game and being a leader on my teams through my actions. I strive every day to achieve my dream of playing lacrosse in college while making sure my teammates' goals are met too.
I think my life experience has made me into a stronger person than most and I hope I will be able to show you that person if you'll allow me the opportunity at your university.
I look forward to hearing from you!
