As a student, I am a Junior graduating in 2021. I have maintained a cumulative 4.0 GPA while taking honors courses including biology, English, and math, along with being a three-sport athlete in club and high school lacrosse, high school basketball, and high school soccer - all at the varsity level. I am taking AP Physics and AP Language this current school year.
As an athlete, I work hard at developing a varied skill set in order to be a reliable lacrosse player and teammate. I'm a competitive and driven player who focuses on being a valuable teammate by consitently feeding offensive players for scoring opportunities, playing strong solo and team defense, and maintaining strong draw techniques. I'm a dependable goal scorer, and my stats are very high for assists and draw controls as well. I'm a strong and agile midfielder and attacker with good stamina, speed, and excellent field vision and game awareness. On the field I'm a natural leader, comfortable with respectfully speaking up when presenting suggestions and ideas to my team and coaches, or speaking on behalf of my teammates.
I have played both high school and club lacrosse for the past eight years and absolutely love it. As a Freshman in high school, I placed 2nd on my team in goals (29), assists (8), and PPG (3.08). As a Sophomore, I was the team leader in draw controls (80) and assists (21), second place for goals (37) and PPG (4.46), and I was ranked 5th in WA state for draw controls and assists, in the top 20 for goals, and was selected for 1st Team All-Conference. As both a Freshman and Sophomore, I was selected for a top-20 roster spot on Team Washington (the U19 regional team), and I'm proud to have played in both the 2018 and 2019 Women's National Tournaments. My high school team made history by reaching the playoffs for the first time my Freshman year and we returned to compete in playoffs again my Sophomore year. My Junior year of high school lacrosse was cancelled (COVID, 2020), and my senior year was a partial season. Senior season our high school won 6 of 8 games, and would have been in the playoffs (however post-season play was not allowed in the 2021 season ... COVID). As a senior I ranked 2nd in WA state for assists (18), was selected as an All-Conference player and was one of seven players in WA state selected as an All-American. I'm looking forward to competing with the Colorado Mesa University lacrosse team this spring.
