One of my more dominate personality traits is my drive to compete. Not in just sports, but in every detail in my life. When I was making a decision of whether or not I wanted to play lacrosse in college, I realized that I wouldn't be able to fulfill that competitive part of me with anything else but this sport. I used to be a very competitive soccer player, but I didn't have the same love or desire to go to practice everyday or drive to be the best I can be. Lacrosse is a part of my life that continues to challenge and push me everyday. I never want to stop learning and improving, and lacrosse allows me to do so.
I started playing lacrosse at a very young age and have developed great stick skills. I am also an incredibly good team player. My freshman and sophomore year although I didn't have the most goals, I did have the most assists on the team. When the ball is on the attacking end, I have generally been the play-caller and have natural field awareness that has been noticed by all of my coaches. I lead by example on and off the field by always hustling and keeping a positive attitude.
It would be amazing to have the opportunity to go to a college that challenges me in my athletic career as well as my academic career.
