Being a student-athlete is one of the best things that I have become. As my love for sports continues to grow, discovering lacrosse made it grow even more. I never knew that such a sport would make a difference in my life. It became something that I never wanted to let go of. I love helping people, which hints why I chose nursing, but not only helping sick people but also helping my teammates on and off the field. That makes a difference! As I am a student-athlete, I am still able to maintain a high GPA all while taking an AP class, my technical school, and dual enrollment. My studies come first.
