Sports have always been a big part of my life. I've played tennis, volleyball, and have been on a swim team. Also, I was in Taekwondo since I was 4 years old and I earned my 2nd degree black belt. I started playing lacrosse freshman year after I saw my sister play it in high school. Living in Appleton, WI women's lacrosse is a very new sport. It wasn't until 2017, when I was a sophomore, that Appleton started a U14 club team. I've always been on the career path of STEM and I'm in a charter school that teaches around that career path. Therefore, I'm mostly around boys. Actually, including me, there are only 4 girls in the whole charter school. Lacrosse has helped me make friends with other girls, and it created a new atmosphere that I wasn't used to. The Appleton Lacrosse Club really helped me grow as an individual and as an athlete. My junior year I got to be apart of an all-star game. It was a really fun experience and I got a chance to score 3 goals while I was there. Being apart of that game introduced me into a high level of playing. It was after that game that I really started looking into playing college lacrosse. I believe the best teams are the ones that rely and encourage each other on and off the field.
