Hello! My name is Hannah and I’m a junior from Walnut Grove, CA. I got introduced to rowing in 2021 at Delta Sculling Center, I absolutely loved the sport but the 40 minute commute made it too difficult to manage along with school and my busy schedule with showing livestock.
I decided I still wanted to see what opportunities could be out there at the collegiate level so I started training consistently on the erg. Although it isn’t always fun I love how rewarding it is to prove to myself that I can do hard things.
Along with this, the majority of my time is spent raising and showing livestock at local county fairs and jackpot shows. I currently have a steer and 15 turkeys.
Outside of training and livestock, I have a 4.1 GPA, am taking 3 AP classes, and studying hard for the SATs in April.
I would love to either walk-on or be recruited to a college rowing team and believe my dedication and determination would make me a good fit for your team.
