Hi! My name is Julia Kraski and I am an openweight bisweptual rower for San Diego Rowing Club. I started rowing in September 2019 as a novice, and then moved up to the varsity team during June of 2020. I always give 110% effort at practices and races, and I work to improve my erg splits and overall technique, on and off the water. I also work my hardest to maintain my gpa of 3.86 with my demanding rowing schedule. One example of when I accomplished one of my goals was when I made it into my club's U17 4+ for Youth Nationals 2021 and my boat was able to get a 6th place finish after a shortened season. Rowing as a team on the water is one of the best feelings, and one of the main reasons I switched from basketball to rowing, I felt a special bond with my teammates that I hadn’t been able to find anywhere else. Throughout the last two years, I have become a motivated and dedicated rower. I have dreams to row successfully at a notable university with an amazing team and coaches.
