Brianne Wieczorek '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Bri and I am from San Diego, California. I am in the Class of 2022 and go to the Academy of Our Lady of Peace, which is an all-girls Catholic private school. I started rowing at the San Diego Rowing Club when I was in 7th grade. I joined their middle school program and continued until high school. As a freshman, I was on my club's Novice Women team. This upcoming season will be my second year on the Varsity Women's team.

Academically I push myself into hard classes and try to balance school and rowing at the same time. I am apart of a student ambassador program at my school, called Carondelet Circle, where I help out at events and assist teachers, parents, alumnae, and any visitors. In college, I am interested in studying Business and/or Hospitality because I am good with people and I am very ambitious. 

In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and cooking/baking. When I hang out with my friends we usually get food, take pictures, and walk around the beach areas of San Diego. I like to cook and bake with my family; my mom and I typically bake cakes for birthdays, meanwhile, my dad and I explore new recipes.

I am very excited to start my 3rd year of rowing competitively and to talk to colleges.
