2019 HighlightsPersonal Statement
One of the best decisions I have made is trying out for the rowing team. Rowing has helped me build strength and confidence and has helped me understand the true meaning of being part of a team. In addition, it has helped me realize that I have the necessary time management skills to be able to pursue the two sports I am passionate about, rowing and karate, while also maintaining good grades.
The past two years rowing, I have not always been in the boats that I have wanted to be in, but this has only inspired me to improve and work harder. Now I am pulling numbers that I am proud of. I do not think there is a sport that is better than rowing and that is why I would love to row in college.
