I began rowing in freshmen year of high school and was immediately taken by it. I now have a true passion for rowing, unlike anything I have experienced before. I work harder every single practice whether I’m sweeping, sculling, or even filling in as a coxswain. I work hard because I not only want to do better for my team but also for myself. I am dedicated to this sport and will push myself to my limits to improve. I love to support my team and fellow athletes, I enjoy working with others and try my best to be kind and supportive with all people not just my teammates. I manage rowing and my academics well. I am in the IB program with AP and honors classes as well, yet even with my extreme amount of work and practice almost every day I still stay on top of my grades and manage my time well. I will try my best and dedicate myself to any school I attend, any team I am recruited to, and any boat I am put. Crew is my passion and I am willing to work hard for it.
