Coaches,
I would like to introduce myself, my name is Emily Chase I am seventeen years old, I am on this website because I think it would be truly ineffable to row in college. I have been rowing varsity crew for my high school team since 8th grade and have been part of the NIERA championship for the past three years. As well as rowing, I am captain of the varsity cross country team (2018) and have been running on my high school's varsity team since freshman year, been very involved with my church, HOBY youth leadership organization and NPH (an organization of children homes in 9 different countries.) Rowing has truly made me appreciate the idea of teamwork. I have played competitive sports including hockey, lacrosse, softball, soccer, tennis, field hockey and swimming since I was kindergarten yet rowing has genuinely stood out to me because of how team oriented the sport is. I feel that crew pushes you to do your best, not only for you but also for the team, which I love. In the future I would love to do something that involves helping people who are less fortunate than I or possibly something in the field photography. Lastly I would like to thank you for your time in reading this and I look forward to possibly speaking with you in the future.
Best Regards,
Emily Chase
