2018 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I started rowing spring season of my freshman year and I immediately fell in love with it. I had to switch to coxing which furthered my love of the sport. I feel that coxing came naturally to me but I am always willing to learn and improve my skills. This is my second season being nominated captain and I look forward to keeping my captaincy through the rest of my high school career. Watching my small crew grow and go through changes has brought me joy and shaped me into who I am. I try to work hard academically because I know I want to accomplish a lot. I am constantly pushing to improve myself and I am looking forward to pushing myself in college.
