My College goal is to get a scholarship for my favorite sport and passion; crew. After college, I hope to join the United States Air Force as an Officer. I think rowing and being in the military have a common theme; the privilege of being a part of a highly skilled team. I have participated in many sports, rowing is different from them all because I know that while I succeed as an individual athlete, I would be nowhere without an amazing coach and an amazing team... I am alone, but not alone, in more ways than I can even name. A few things I love doing are rowing, making and obtaining goals, being with my family, and pushing myself to be the best rower and person I can be. My personality helps me stand out from others, if I want to achieve something, I will do whatever it takes. I'm not shy and I have a bubbly attitude towards others, but I can be focused and reserved. I respect the decisions that my coach makes no matter what. I am a team leader; I stick up for what is right and I am willing to go extra steps for others. I compete in any event my coach wants me to do, and I do it with every ounce of energy I have. In schooling, I will keep my grades up, and know that even though athletics are fun, I am there to get my degree, excel in schooling, and make whatever school I go to, proud of having me apart of their program. I will push myself to be the best individual and athlete I can possibly be.
