I began rowing when I was 12 years old. When I started rowing I knew it was something I loved and wanted to pursue in not only high school, but college too.
I am very hard working and goal oriented. I am a very coachable athlete and like to challenge myself to break through barriers to always make myself better. I consider myself a team leader and always like to encourage, support and help my teammates with whatever they need.
In school, I work hard to maintain a good GPA. As a student I try to not only do things inside of school, but outside as well. During the summer, I volunteer to teach little kids how to swim and I also volunteer at my high school's summer rowing program. I am also a homeroom representative for student government.
I want to find a college that is right for me, where I can grow and push myself academically and in rowing. I want to compete in the highest level possible that I can.
